I'm hugging my coffee cup this morning as I type to you because I'm sleepy from coughing throughout the night. Also I worked late in the studio. I don't feel bad {Mom, so don't worry}, it's just a dry cough.
All this green makes me feel spring will be here again soon. We ordered a bunch of seeds this week for our garden. I like how snow brightens up the grey of winter, {we had more snow yesterday} but my eyes {and spirit} are eagerly awaiting the color of spring. How about you?
I hope you have a bright and colorful weekend,
Heather

OH I am so ready for spring. Tired of snow. Tired of stuffy noses. Tired of cold.
I cannot wait until spring comes!!! We've gotten 90 inches of snow this winter. Have a nice weekend :-)
usually i'm all about green by the time we get to this part of the winter. but i'm not there yet this year. somehow, this winter has been relatively painless for me (other than all of my aching for snow, more snow, which has yet to materialize - despite the fact that school is closed today for a snow day!).
however...now that you've put green on my mind, i'm thinking that i'll have green week on my blog. the first week of march. there you go.
i'm torn. i love the snow and sleet and a book by the fireplace. a few weeks ago though i noticed some tulips pushing up through the ground - i miss flowers.
i appreciate living in kansas where we do have a variety of weather. maybe if winter didn't last so long...
If you were here I'd say your cough was allergy related. I'll tell you to take care of yourself; knowing that you will without my admonition, but try keeping water going in your teapot for some steamy moisture. Check my flickr later today for some signs of spring. It is just around the corner! :)
snow. snowing. 9 inches and counting. pretty, but enough already. i want green.
pretty photo. yes, i'm about ready for spring too. it's cold and rainy here today. happy weekend heather! xo
It's like little leaves, that pattern. I am definitely ready for spring! I can feel it coming, but it's not coming soon enough.
Have a great weekend, Heather!
Yes, bring on the Spring and the green please! I hope your cough disappears. But your mom is right about the steam, of course. It's been particularly dry in my house and the cats don't want us to pet them for fear they will get zapped. Poor things.
I long for green, sun & warmth. The winter doldrums are waying on my weary brain. However, reading my friends blogs makes me smile :)
feel better!
we have had a very mild and wet summer, until now. the skies are crisp, bright blue and the gardens are alive thanks to all the rain. I'll take a photo for you this weekend so you can at least feel some warmth through your computer.
No snow at all -especially on one weekend- but spring starting always gives me the feeling of exitement ( like Christmas in child-times). So many things will happen, earth is recreating...it is SO wonderful!
Hi Heather, Tiel is right we missed our hot summer. It was a beautiful day yesterday when suddenly all of life sings... and now rain again. At home tonight we're wearing cardigans and the winter bed covers are back on.
thinking of you :)
xx
Your blog and work are so inspiring. I'm so happy to have found it :)
We didn't have any winter, it feels odd and a bit scary. Glad there was winter somewhere on this planet, not only climate changes.
Hold on! Spring is soon with you :)
